Teachers and admins can share the tests they have created with other teachers and admins in their district. Teachers and admins can also share a URL link of a test they using with another teacher or admin to ensure they are adding the exact same test to their own subject tabs.
Sharing Authored Tests:
To do this, the teachers must be "linked" to the district in ESGI. You can easily see if you are linked by logging into ESGI and going into the My Account settings:
Once you are in My Account select the arrow expand button at the top of the page.
To verify your account is linked to the District Select “School and District”
If your account is not linked to your district and you want to use tests other teachers have created, or share tests that you’ve authored, please go to Training & Support - ESGI and click on Start Chat and let us know you’d like to have your account linked.
If you have authored a test that you do or do not want to share, check or uncheck the box next to "Share Test".
If you are Linked to your district, you can click on the District Tests tab to view the Tests published and shared by users in your district (excludes user’s own tests).
Sharing a Test URL:
Open the test in Test Explorer and copy the URL from the top of the page.
Note: The URL links can only be copied from Test Explorer, not from the Home screen.
When the test’s URL link is copied into a browser, it will automatically open.
The end user will have to be logged into an ESGI account to access the test.
Our Adding a Test to a Subject Tab Home Screen support page provide detailed information on finding and adding the shared tests to your account.
