ESGI is pre-loaded with over 2,500 tests. You can use these tests as is, modify them to meet your needs, or create your own.
While using the Beta Version of ESGI, users will have access to our new Beta Test Explorer. The Beta Test Explorer comes with a more modern and accessible design, as well as a bunch of new features.
To open the Test Explorer, please click on the “Test Explorer” icon located on the left-hand column of your home screen.
Once clicked, you will be taken to this screen.

Located on the left side of the screen is our new Filter Panel. Clicking on the items in this panel will allow you to filter which tests are being displayed.
Tests can be filtered by their:

Additionally, you can toggle the "Show Hidden Tests” box to view any tests that you may have previously hidden.
You can now apply more than one filter by clicking on and selecting multiple items within in the Filter Panel. To deselect an item, click on it again to make the blue highlighting disappear. To clear all applied filters, click on the "Reset Filters” icon at the top right of the Filter Panel.
The “Filter By Standard”, “Filter By Noted Author” and “Filter By Series” buttons all open a panel on the right side of the screen when clicked. Since there is a large number of possible filters, each of these 3 filter categories can be cleared separately using the ‘clear’ button. This button appears when one or more filters are applied in the category.

Add Tests to Subject Tab and Action Bar:
New to the Beta Test Explorer is the ability to add multiple tests at once. Follow these steps below to learn how:
1. Find the Test Card(s) that you wish to add, and then click on the empty checkbox(es) to select. You’ll know that you’ve successfully selected a Test Card if a checkmark appears in the checkbox and the Test Card becomes highlighted in blue.
2. Once at least one Test Card is selected, a light blue bar known as the "Action Bar” will appear. The Action Bar not only displays the number of tests that you have selected, but it also allows you to only show the selected tests, hide the selected tests, favorite the selected tests, and, of course, add the selected tests to your subject tabs.
3. Click on "Add Selected” to proceed.
4. From here, a panel will open on the right side of your screen.
5. Once you’re on this panel, you will be shown the tests which you have selected, as well as a scrollable list of your Subject Tabs. You also have the option to create a new subject tab from this panel and deselect one of the tests by clicking the “X” icon next to the name of the test you no longer wish to add.
6. To continue adding your selected test(s), select the Subject Tab where you wish to add the test(s) to, and then click on the “Add” button at the top-right of the panel.
7. You will see a black bar at the bottom of your screen indicating that you’ve successfully added the Test(s) to the selected Subject Tab of your account.
Standards Filter:
The Beta Test Explorer allows you to filter tests by certain state standards. You can get started with this by clicking on “Filter By Standards” button at located at the top of the Filter Panel on the left of the page. This will open the “Standards Filter Panel” on the right side of your screen.
Once you’re in the Standards Filter Panel, your default type should be auto populated with your State (shown in your account settings.) If we do not have your State, the default will be set to Common Core. You can change the Standard Type/State that you view test results with by clicking the “Type” dropdown and selecting a State from the list that appears.
Only one standard type can be searched at a time. Changing the dropdown selection will reset any previous standard types in the panel.
After you’ve selected your desired standard type, choose the appropriate Content Area and Grade Level and then pick a domain from the list that appears.
After a domain is selected, you will see the list of all standards associated with it. You can use the search bar located at the top of the panel to search up standards based on their code or description.
Once you have found a standard that you wish to add, click on it to select it. You can select multiple standards, and each one will appear at the top of the panel once selected. You can deselect any standards you no longer wish to include by either clicking on the “X” icon next to their name at the top or clicking on it from the standard list. Additionally, you have the option to select / deselect all standards by clicking on the “Select All” icon below the search bar.
When you’ve selected all the Standards that you wish to add, click on the “Add Filter” button at the top right of the panel to add them
Once the filter is successfully added, the Beta Test Explorer will only display tests that align with the selected standards.
