We are pleased to announce the enhancement of our Subject Tabs functionality for District Administrators. To create a Subject Tab, please begin by selecting the "District" option for the Subject Tab located in the upper left corner. Click on the "Add Subject Tab" button, which is indicated by a '+', ensure that the "Active" option is selected, and enter the desired name for your subject tab in the field to the right of the "Active" option (as shown in the Subject Tab below.)
Next, you will need to select the Retest Modes option, which will populate the description displayed below:
Afterward, you may select from the available options for Retest Modes, and you will also have the option to utilize the functionality for Shuffling Questions, should you wish to do so:
Below the options to Retest and Shuffle Questions, you will find the Publish Options. These options include the Publish Period and Grade Level:
When the Publish Period option is selected, you have the ability to choose from three options at the top of the menu: Indefinitely, Period, or Date Range. If you select the Period option, you can further choose between Current School Year or Marking Period. Should you choose Marking Period, your configured Marking Periods will be displayed accordingly.
The Date Range feature provides a calendar view, or you may input the dates above the calendar.
The Grade Level from the Publish Options will populate the grade options in the adjacent menu. Here, you may either select all grades (located above the grade options) or choose specific grades from the list provided below:
Furthermore, within the "Publish For Teachers" section, you have the option to publish for either "All" or "By School":
For Specialists, you have the option to publish for All, By School, or By Specialist:
You can now add tests by selecting the "Add Tests" button located under "Subject Tab Tests" in the right column of the screen.
You may utilize the filters located at the top, under "Description," to locate your tests. Once they are displayed, you can proceed to add them from the list provided below:
Subsequently, the added tests will be displayed, including the test type, color, and an option to remove the test(s) by clicking the 'x' located to the right of the test name:
Additionally, in the upper right corner, you may either reorder tests by utilizing the arrows icon You can also click the '+' icon to add additional tests:
After adding and rearranging your tests to your desired order, click "Add" located at the top center of the screen to finalize your Subject Tab.
The Subject Tab has been successfully incorporated into your collection of other Subject Tabs located in the left margin. It will automatically be selected as the initial tab displayed upon its addition.
To deactivate a Subject Tab, please click or unselect the "Active" option located next to the Subject Tab Name. Subsequently, a hidden icon will appear next to the Subject Tab you have chosen to deactivate.
