Navigation has significantly changed for administrators, with new features including:
- A standalone Data Page truly dedicated to data.
- You can navigate the levels of the hierarchy on the left.
- With each level selection, a table is shown which provides various data, including names, email addresses, class counts, etc.
- Each column can be sorted and filtered.
- Each data table is customizable. You can select the data they want to see for each level of the hierarchy.
- Reports that can be generated directly from any data table. (See our Support Page for Running Reports.)
- Filters that you can use to easily narrow down the data that you want displayed.
1. To launch the Data Page, click on the “Data” button located on the left-side column of the application
2. To navigate between the various pages of data, click on the left and right arrow buttons at the top right of the screen. Please note, the Data Page will always default to the “School” view when first loaded. 3. Clicking on another level from the hierarchy on the left will change the data that is being displayed, along with the folders associated with it below
4. You can customize which data is being displayed for each level of the hierarchy by clicking on the "Table Customization" button located at the top right of the application and clicking on the checkboxes next to the data which you would like to have displayed (the blue highlighting indicates that the item has been selected.) 5. Once you’ve selected all your desired items, click on the blue "Select" button at the top to apply your changes.
6. To download the data, please click on the “Download” icon located at the top right corner of the application. Currently, we only support downloading in CSV format

Additionally, some column headers allow you to filter what’s being displayed. To do this:

Please note, you can select/ deselect all items at once by clicking this button

5. Click on “apply” once your selections have been made
Viewing Test Results
When you have only one item selected from the Data Page, you’ll have the ability to navigate down the hierarchy, and you are given the options to run reports (see our support article for more on this) or view test results. To view test results:
1. Ensure that only one item has been selected on the Data Page, then click on “View Test Results” located at the bottom of the application
2. This will open the test results screen. Here, you can navigate between all your District Subject Tabs and see any pie charts associated with the selected tab
3. You also have the options to toggle color on or off, show each student, and sort. You can download any test results by clicking on the “Download” button located at the top right of the application
Adding Classes/ Students
If the "+" and "Student Manager" buttons are missing, your district is importing student information, and students can only be added via the import files. If you think this is an error, please email support@esgisoftware.com and we will assist.
If you're in a non-importing district, you can add classes and add students to those classes within the Data Page. To get started:
1. Ensure that you have selected “Classes” from the hierarchy, then click on the + button located at the top right corner of the Data Page Screen
2. Fill out all the required information accordingly, then click the "Add” button
Searching the Data Page
Similar to filtering, you have the option to search for a specific entity within the Admin Data Page. To do this:
1. Ensure you are at the proper level of the hierarchy
2. Type the name of what/ who it is you’re searching for in the search bar
3. Matching results will be displayed automatically
