In ESGI, data is not only connected to a student's name but also associated with the exact tests that are given. To view data, the teacher needs to have the same tests on their home screen that the previous teacher used. A student's final test score from the previous school year will become the Baseline score for the new school year. The "B" Score can be changed only by deleting the Baseline Test.
It's important to note that there may be tests with the same names. To ensure the exact test is being used, refer to the color on the test, the author, create date, etc. Data will only appear on the home screen if the exact test is there.
For example, if a Kindergarten teacher wants to see data from Pre-K, the Kindergarten teacher would need to have the exact same tests on their home screen that the Pre-K teacher used to assess the students. In this example, if the kindergarten teachers had the same tests as the Pre-K teachers, the last test session from the Pre-K year would show up as the B (baseline) score for the kindergarten year.
To keep data consistent, we recommend districts utilize purple (district-managed) and/or blue (school-managed) subject tabs which publishes the required tests for teachers and ensures all teachers are using the same tests or at least have access to the same tests.
